Oksana Kondratyeva

Oksana Kondratyeva is a London-based artist, known for her innovative stained glass and painting. She designs and produces architectural glass art and stained glass for historical and contemporary architecture across the UK. Applying traditional and modern techniques, she brings together a bespoke design, fine craftsmanship and genuine dialogue with architectural space.


Major works include St James School in London, The White House in Wells, Kingcombe in the Cotswolds, UK, for which she has been the recipient of industry accolades.


Kondratyeva has exhibited at the British Glass Biennale, Mall Galleries, St Stephen Walbrook London, Wells Cathedral, National Museum of Ukrainian Decorative Art.

She holds a PhD in theory of architecture and has been a leading scholar specialising on Ukraine's stained glass and dalle-de-verre, and the interplay between architectural glass art, architecture and history.


Being a long-time contributor to The Journal of Stained Glass, BSMGP, Kondratyeva has been lecturing at educational institutions worldwide, including University of Cambridge, The Courtauld Institute London, University of Lisbon, British Society of Master Glass Painters, Art Workers' Guild, London.
